BIOGRAPHY
Genna & Jesse are a harmony-driven duo whose music draws from soul, folk, blues, country, jazz, pop, and the rich traditions of American music. Their distinctive vocal harmony, expressive songwriting, and natural chemistry give the music its center, while their live performances move easily between intimacy, humor, storytelling, and genuine musical intensity. The result is difficult to contain within a single genre—and unmistakably their own.
Hailing from Michigan and Philadelphia, Genna & Jesse crossed paths after each had spent years making music in cities including San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York, Detroit, and Chicago. Together, they spent the first decade of their career living nomadically—writing, recording, and performing around the world—before eventually settling with their family into a country home in southern Italy. They still spend much of each year on the road, carrying that sense of movement and discovery into the music they make.
Their musical life continues to be shaped by the places they go, the people they meet, and the stories gathered along the way.
